FREE online classes now offered under the "Learn Online" tab. One patron writes: "Dear Ms. Geiger, Thank you for offering thee free online classes. I'm taking two and have already had opportunity to apply new skills to benefit both my family and the community. I hope more people hear about these courses and give them a try!."

Classes at the Library

Thursdays 101

Thursdays are for learning at the library!  From 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM in the community room, we offer adult education classes on computers and technology.  Topics covered include computers for beginners, Microsoft Word, using email, researching on the Internet, and more.  Check the events page for dates and topics.  Sign up at the library or call Helen at 724-465-8841 x5.

Downloading eBooks

Learn how to borrow eBooks from the Library using OverDrive and download them to your device.  Classes are offered at various times and for different devices, so check the events page for the class that’s right for you.  Call 724-465-8841 for more information.

Create your own technology class with this program designed with you in mind. Schedule 15 minutes or half an hour with a reference librarian to answer your technology questions and learn new apps. Reserve at least 24 hours in advance by phone or at the Front Desk. Choose your topic so they have time to gather materials and learn new computer skills.
