FREE online classes now offered under the "Learn Online" tab. One patron writes: "Dear Ms. Geiger, Thank you for offering thee free online classes. I'm taking two and have already had opportunity to apply new skills to benefit both my family and the community. I hope more people hear about these courses and give them a try!." Services Available

Internet Access
Free Internet access is available to patrons. There are eight computers designated for Internet access in the Reference area, two for teens 12-18 and one for children under 12 or parents of children under 12 in the Children's Department. Children must use the Internet computers in the Children's Department. If they are under the age of 18, they must have their parent/guardian sign a permission form.

Internet computers can print to either color (.25 cents) per page or black & white (.10 cents) per page printers and must be paid for at the Front Dsk before retrieval.

Free W-Fi

A FREE wireless connection  to the Internet is available from any point in the building. Please review our policies on the welcome page before clicking in.

A copying machine is available for public use at a cost of $.10 cents per page. The copy machine will enlarge and reduce an image as well as lighten or darken. It will also produce double-sided images.


The Library offers a fax service for sending or receiving faxes. The phone number to receive a fax is 724.465.9902. This service costs $2.00 for the first page and $1.00 for each additional page.

Community Room Rental
The Library offers a Community Room which can be rented out at a charge of $40.00 for 2 hours, $5.00 for each additional half hour. A $20. cash deposit is required on rental day and returned after room clean-up. This room is perfect for any type of meeting, party, bridal or baby shower. The space is appropriate for presentations with screen and kitchen facilities. The Community Room can be reserved by calling the library at 724.465.8841. It may be reserved at any time and is done on a first come first serve basis during library operation hours.

Exam Proctoring

We do offer free proctoring services by appointment. Please call the Reference extention and speak with a Librarian to schedule.

Book Club Kits

Registered book clubs may borrow and return a kit with 15-20 copies of a title and discussion questions to get your club going. This comes to us as a service through our District center in Johnstown.  Kits need to be ordered in advance based on availability.
