Family Place – Value of Reading Books

Families with children from birth to 5 years old are welcome to join us in the Children’s Department for an informal program where adults can meet and socialize while children play with educational toys and STEM building materials.  The Children’s Librarian will share tips on ways to get your child interested in books and reading and explain why it is so important. The program will conclude as we gather in a circle to hear stories and sing songs.
