Children’s Summer Programs

Summer 2019 

 

Be sure to join us for the Kick-off on June 10 from 10 am - 1 pm. Join us at your newly-renovated library, where we will explore activities designed to encourage and inspire preschool, elementary and older students to discover the wonders of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math.

 


 

Mondays -  10:30 am - Little Explorers 

Birth to Age 2. Join us as we explore the wonders of the night sky with stories, action songs, and movement exercises.

 

Tuesdays - 10:30 am - Astronauts in Training 

Ages 3-5 Our books, rhymes, and craft-activity will explore the wonders of space and scientists who travel there to learn about it.

 

Tuesdays - 3:30 pm - Galaxy Quest 

Ages 12 and up - We will be making crafts, discussing our favorite books, movies & music, and meeting new people.  Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, awesome snacks, and friendship.

 

 Wednesdays - 10:30 am - Makers in Space

Ages 4 – 8  - This space-themed program introduces STEAM concepts through out-of-this-world building and art activities.

 

Wednesdays - 7:00 pm - Full STEAM Ahead

This informal program provides an opportunity for children to experiment with our Science, Technology, Art and Math kits!

 

Thursdays - 10:30 am - Tech Wizards

Ages 9-11 - Learn about computer science, coding and more at Tech Wizard Training.  These classes will teach beginner programing ideas and build on each lesson. Registration is required and you need to be able to attend most of these classes.
